Hi, I’m Joelle and I’ve been in the nail industry for over 13 years!

 

’ve been educating for over nine of those and it is a strong passion of mine. I love sharing my knowledge and pushing the boundaries to create the perfect set of nails. I own and operate a busy nail & spray tanning salon in West Auckland called Petite Nails. It’s the home to 2 other amazing nail techs who trained under me too!

 

I specialize in Sculpted Acrylics, Gel Extensions and Gel Polish.

I’m very excited to join the Lola Lee educational team and love using their industry-leading products.

I’m happily married and have 3 beautiful children and a chubby Bulldog called Snooki.

We train out of Petite Nails for classes up to 6 but have another space for larger classes with great facilities and off-street parking.

Hi I'm Vaun! Also known as Vauns Claws.

 

I started my nail journey in 2019 by training at the Premier Institute Of Education and got my level 4 NZQA Nail Technician qualifications.

 

I am qualified in Manicures, Pedicures, Gel Polish, Acrylic, and Polygel. Straight after gaining my qualifications I got an amazing opportunity to work alongside Joelle and start my own little business.

 

Since working with Joelle, I have gained more skills such as E-filing, Builder Gel and 123 Go Gel Extensions. Since working with Joelle I have taken on the role of 2IC in the salon.

Hi I’m Jess, aka The Lady Cave

Having completed my training with Cut Above Academy in 2015 I’ve got almost 8yrs in the nail industry. Prior to that, I was a hair and makeup stylist. I’m super passionate, and love learning, and gaining new skills and knowledge. I’m trained in acrylic, acrygel, gel, and soft gel and specialise in hand-painted nail art influenced by a good animal print, floral, or anything marble.

When I’m not creating nail magic I can be found hanging out with my family, in the kitchen, or being creative in some other way.

 

Fun facts about me:

- I’m a Mumma of 7 (6M + 1F)

- I was the lead nail tech for DWTS 22

- I collect vintage sets
